101+ Memorial Cup (NOTE: Significant changes here)

·         World Rules apply (only some rules are relevant)

o        Ball must hit cushion after object ball is hit or a ball must be potted

o        White must be placed behind the lines (previously allowed on the line)

o        A ball dropping without being touched by another ball or player is replaced with no penalty.

o        4 balls must hit the cushion from the break

o        Cue ball potted on the break no longer carries a 5 point penalty as long as 4 balls hit the cushion. The turn just passes to the opponent.

o        If fair break is not achieved (less than four balls hit and nothing potted) then re-rack, 5 point penalty given and opponent breaks with one visit and same obligation to achieve a fair break.

·         Players must play the format specified on the score card.

·         Winner is the team with the most points when at least one team scores more than 101 points and the end of the frame has been reached.

·         5 points deducted for all fouls (except potting cue ball from the break. see above)

·         No points awarded for balls potted on a foul shot

·         Legally potted Black = 1 point unless potted last then, legally potted Black = 5 points

·         Failure to pot off the break, and fair break achieved means turn passes to opponent. A 2nd visit is never awarded on 101+
